Road Work - Brant County Road 22 – Highway 54 to Sawmill Road

Please note road work is scheduled to take place on Brant Country Road 22 from Highway 54 to Sawmill Road starting Monday, July 21.

Work Dates: Monday, July 21 to Tuesday, July 29, 2025

Work Performed by: GIP Paving for County of Brant

Reason: Asphalt overlay on existing surface and guardrail adjustments

Notes:

• reduced to one lane during working hours
• open to two lanes overnight and on weekends during road paving operations
• traffic will be controlled by traffic control person

Heat warning issued for Brant on July 11, is now cancelled

The medical officer of health for Grand Erie Public Health has cancelled the heat warning issued for the Grand Erie Public Health region (Brantford-Brant and Haldimand-Norfolk) on July 11. Extreme heat conditions are no longer in effect, as temperatures have cooled below advisory levels forecasted by Environment and Climate Change Canada.
