Following the Special Air Quality Statement issued for the County of Brant, and with High-risk Air Quality Health Index values expected to continue this afternoon, the following County of Brant recreation programs have been impacted for today, Friday, June 6 , 2025:

Splash Pad Update

We’ are excited to share that repairs to the Burford Splash Pad are now complete, and it will officially open for the season this Saturday, June 7! The Paris Splash Pad and Paris Community Pool are also open and ready for summer fun!
Please note: The St. George Splash Pad remains closed due to mechanical issues until further notice. We appreciate your patience as we work to get it up and running.

Urban Area Yard Waste Collection - June 9-13

Friendly reminder that Urban Area Yard Waste Collection is next week, June 9-13!
Curbside yard waste collection is offered to residential properties within urban areas in the County of Brant. Materials are to be set out by 7:00 am on your regular collection day in paper bags/open top rigid containers and bundles of limbs/ branches under 7.5 cm (3 in.) in diameter (max. bundles size 2 ft x 4 ft.).

Road Closure Notice - Grand River Street North
We remind the public that Phase 2b of the Downtown Dig will begin tomorrow, Thursday, June 5 at 7:00 am.
During this phase, Grand River Street North will be closed to vehicle access from William Street to the Nith River Bridge.Access to Broadway Street and Mechanic Street will remain open (via William Street) for local traffic, including access to businesses and parking lots.
